Big Bang for an integrated personality:

A 3-dimensional universe surrounded by a void is an easy model to draw on a school blackboard. Use a dot and a circle. On the blackboard void, you can call the dot a really small bubble of unified forces; then call the circle a really big bubble full of galaxies. Adding a linear time sequence to your model (i.e., dot-to-circle tangents), you can indicate the relationship between the two bubbles. Your model started in a really short time(small bubble) and will end only after a really long time (somewhere past the big bubble). Since your bubble universe is surrounded by a void, you really don’t know what really means. Indeed, you can’t know what small, big, short time, or long time means except as you related it to your “self” – but you don’t know yourself, and you don’t know your species. Thinking yourself to be a romantic spaceman floating in a void, your pride demands applause for seeing nothing. You’ve blinded yourself.

Instead of a melancholy romantic, you should call yourself a cosmic magician. Thus, you can avoid practical logic and provide entertainment: dialectical logic.

Begin your Small universe with a Big Bang, then end it with a Big Crunch, Big Chill, Big Rip, Big Oscillation, Big… well, something Big, because pride has taken control of your cosmic analysis.

Pride will attempt to synthesize any “knowledge” when your Objectivity becomes obsessed. Self-esteem, self-definition, self-awareness are all reduced to being a finite problem by a finite personality (i.e.,by an integrated personality).
