Watch Mars Alive (1993) Documentary Online

Horizon looks at what it would take to terraform Mars. Robert Zubrin of the Mars Society describes the ‘Mars Direct’ aproach, that uses the resources of Mars, instead of taking everything with you.

It is approaches like this that are far more likely to succeed because they are not very complex. They save time and money because the knowledge and rescources are already there.

There are many groups like the Mars Society whom are everyday people who have gotten fed up waiting for the big corporations and governments to get going on space exploration – so they are doing it themselves. It is with this spirit of passion and enthusiasm, of dedication and enthusiasm that will probably move the world forward. ‘If you want something done, do it yourself’ – or at least with a bunch of like minded people.

Everyone should join and contribute. Let’s get out there and do it!!
